On July 19th, 2015, we will be hosting another LME Showcase Festival at the beautiful Red Room venue. About the venue: Located at 398 Richards St, Vancouver, B.C. Red Room Ultra Bar is a large party venue that can accommodate hundreds of guests. As usual, we promise that the line-up of artists will not disappoint. Here are some artists that you can look forward to see performing at the show: Artist Spotlight: Article by: Julien Renvoisé After 50 years of growth and development since The Who first hit the stage, the power trio with added vocalist has become one of Rock n’ roll’s classic formations. Although it has come in many shapes and colors from Led Zeppelin to Tool, the iconic four-piece always seems to follow some guidelines: a solid rhythm section that is held together by a powerful drummer and tight bassist is complemented by energetic riffs and powerhouse vocals.
In this context one can imagine that it would be hard to be innovative. Yet Calgary-based band and LME top performers Alkatine have managed to create their own brand of rock n’ roll which follows the canons of the genre while bringing their own energy and sound into the equation. Landmark Events Preliminary Round@Revival, We're back in Toronto and this time we're bringing you the greatest acts. On September 11th, bands from all different genres (from rock to hip hop to folk and so much more!) will be rocking the stage at Revival, located on 783 College Street. The bar is renowned for its live musical performances on 3 floors and has welcomed great artists such as Justin Timberlake, The Black Eyed Peas and Robin Williams.
Don't miss the event because one thing is for sure : it will be even bigger and better. Check out the upcoming artists we proudly bring to you and don't forget to listen and share their music, you might discover great tracks. Artist Spotlight: Formed in 2008, out of a musical passion that guitarist member Kyle Hansen visioned. With the help of vocalist Maria Pelletier, both musical visionaries knew that they had to pursuit their love for music. They set out to find colleagues and friends who would share their similar interest of expressing themselves through lyrics and had the same level of commitment and dedication. This level of commitment and dedication was proven when the band decided to relocate to Edmonton, Alberta due to the larger artists community and a more interactive music scene. The open embrace showed by the Edmonton crowd made it all the more easier for this band to welcome their new fans as they continue to rock the Edmonton stage. With killer vocals, sick riffs and a united group, it was no surprise that this band took home 5th place at Landmark Events Edmonton Showcase Festival. These are just few reasons why this talented band are being featured in our artist spotlight segment.
The Empty Yellers Make Their Mark at The Big The Empty Yellers, the winners of our 2014 Montreal LME Showcase Festival have moved on to great things since taking the top spot at our event. Throughout the whole series, the girls finished first out of approximately 40 bands who have played throughout the whole festival. We have recently signed them under management this summer, and are working collaboratively with them for their upcoming releases.
